Post-Christmas thoughts

1. There have been Christmas in my life when I was feeling alone. Not any more. I wish all the lonely souls to find the way for their connection too.

2. Christmas itself it's not a religious feast any more, for most of us, but a triggering event to meet us out of the everyday stress. It's a chance to connect ourselves just for the pleasure of our company, without any speculative approach.

3. The spirit of our transcendent unity is present, even if it's not commanded by a church.

4. Humans can transform their religious ceremonies to interpersonal rituals, keeping just the spirit of the transcendence and getting rid of any other element that doesn't respond to their true beliefs. (We don't have to pretend that we are Christians to enjoy our "own Christmas".)

5. This socialization of Christmas doesn't mean the capitalization of it. Too much consumption, too many unnecessary "gifts", too much food on the table, devalue the value of the gifts and of the food.

6. Keep fasting before Christmas, to give value to the food. Don't go shopping every day, to give value to the gifts.

7. It's good to sing and dance all together!
